Jessica is an L.A.-based designer, set decorator, and buyer with a  well-rounded art department skill set. Born in L.A. but raised in San Diego, Jessica’s earliest creative outlets were drawing and writing, and over the years expanded to painting, piano, acting, screenwriting, film editing, sculpting, cake decorating, graphic design, and just about anything else that originates in the imagination.

What began as a timid interest in film evolved into a serious career pursuit after Jessica spent a semester in the film program at Charles University F.A.M.U. in the Czech Republic. It was there that she first experienced the hard work that goes into making a film. Rather than being scared off by the exhaustive amount of work that is filmmaking, Jessica was eager to do more. So naturally, the world of decorating and design was a natural fit.

After graduating summa cum laude from Whittier College with a B.A. in her extremely practical Creative Writing / Philosophy of Film double major, Jessica moved to L.A. proper to pursue a career in film. Within her first year she worked on her first feature and designed as many small projects as she could, building practical knowledge by working under professionals and, more often than not, figuring out how to make things work on her own.

When Jessica isn’t on set she enjoys painting, sketching, writing, cooking, yoga, hiking, camping, movies, board games, trying to pet other peoples' animals, and watching all the fantastic television out there right now.

Jessica is a local hire in Los Angeles and San Diego.
